A Kiss
Is more than just lips.
A kiss has to do with the absolute weight of another person’s body on yours, that somehow is neither uncomfortable nor restricting.
It’s the patterns of fingertips making their way over needy flesh.
It’s the warmth of their breath upon your lips.
It’s the slight bumps of the noses with each motion.
It’s the awkward moment of slightly opening your eyes and making eye contact because both of you simply wanted to see the bliss in the others face while they were losing themselves in your presence.
It’s the ting of teeth against teeth in each clumsy bump.
It’s the way legs intertwine in messy twigs.
It’s mustache hairs brushing against already chapped lips.
It’s losing your sense of time and worry in their mouth.
It’s heartbeats making their way through bone, skin, and cloth in the most beautiful attempt to combine two perfectly eloped bodies.
